Opened in April 2016 at the Mill complex in northern Castlemaine, the Taproom is open six days a week serving delicious beverages, yummy food and beaucoup conviviality.

Thursday 14th: Open 12-8pm. Tappy Hour 12-6pm – $10 pints, $5 pints. Pizza from 5-8pm.
Friday 15th: Open 12-10pm. Pizza from 5-8pm. SPECIAL MUSIC EVENT! From 8-10pm, we are very happy to present TIM GUY. Tim has proven a remarkably consistent songwriter, striking “a rare balance between bright-eyed sincerity and playful self-awareness” – twangy guitar playing and nagging melodies and warm and grainy everyman vocals. Free entry!
Saturday 16th: Open 12pm to 10pm. Our normal cool and froody vibe, pizza from 12-8pm.
Sunday 17th: From 12pm, pizza all day. MORE FREE MUSIC from 5-7pm – T.K. BOLLINGER – “a sweetly tortured fusion of Doom Blues, Gothic Country and post apocalyptic Gregorian Chant. A predominantly solo artist, his songs speak of the horror and the hope that lies in a world where each of us is forced to find our own meaning and purpose”.

Whet your whistle with one of ten brews – eight or nine craft beers brewed onsite, a ginger beer or an apple cider – on tap in pints and pots, or (best value alert!) get a tasting paddle with your choice of four for a tenner.
ON TAP THIS WEEK:
Eight Castlemaine brews: Shedshaker Pacific Ale, Knucklehead Rye IPA, Golden Ale, Espresso Lager, Lager Original Pils, Frailty Pale Ale, Night Porter and Celtic Red. Rounding out the selection are Blue Elephant Custodian Apple Cider and Ginger Kid Ginger Beer (careful it’s 8% alcohol).
New: beer-based mixers! Boilermaker, Snakebite, Aperol Mist, Black’n’tan, Portergaff.
And new bar snacks: Pretzels, Wasabi peas, cheesy corn and rice crackers – last two GF.
Don’t fancy a frothy brew? Choose from eight local wines, bubbles, ciders and soft drinks.
